Event day schedule:
7:00AM-9:00AM - Tech inspection
7:00AM-9:00AM - Registration
9:00AM - Novice walk
9:30AM - MANDATORY driver's meeting
10:00AM - First car on course
SCCA Solo is one of the easiest, safest, and most popular ways to become a participant in motorsports instead of just a fan or spectator. Solo events also provide an excellent opportunity to improve your driving skills and to explore your car's performance capabilities in a controlled environment.
Event requirements
- Registration AND PAYMENT accepted online ONLY. There will be NO registration on site on the day of the event. Payment must be completed online; payment will not be accepted on site.
- A valid, state-issued driver’s license is required for participation.
- All drivers under 18 years old must have a Minor Release and Waiver signed by both parents or guardians on file. Contact the registrar at least seven days prior to the event to complete the Minor Release and Waiver if both parents or guardians cannot attend the event.
- Drivers are responsible for correctly classing their own car. If you have classing questions please review the 2020 rules here, contact the registrar, or visit with Chris Riester (DMVR Solo Rules Director) the day of the event.
- Non-participant guests are welcome – you must sign the online waiver.
June 21st Eddyville Raceway Solo Event
We will be holding our 1st solo of the year at Eddyville Raceway finally! There will be a few changes to ensure we are holding a safe event and following all social distancing rules set forth by all of the governing bodies. We will have several big changes that may or may not affect you but we ask that you follow the following rules.
- Masks are MANDATORY. Plan on bringing your own as masks may or may not be available.
- The event is limited to 60 entries.
- There will be no loaner helmets available, so if you do not have a helmet you will not be able to race.
- We will not be holding our mentor program.
- Novices are not advised as the mentor program will not be run.
- No walk up entries will be allowed.
- No minors are allowed unless they are racing.
- No spectators are allowed at race events per the SCCA guidelines. Racers are allowed 1 “crew” member at the event.
- No ride alongs unless it is the +1 that came with you.
- Waivers HAVE to be signed online prior to the event or you will not be allowed on the premises. A link to sign will be announced at a later date.
- You will have to tech your own car while being observed by an approved tech official
- Only online payment will be accepted.
These are the starting rules and may be added to as we get closer to the event.
All of these rules will be enforced and if you are warned more than once you will be asked to leave.
