About this event
2020 FLR Autocross Event #1
Our first points event of the 2020 season is at the Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY!
The event will be capped at 150 participants, and split into morning and afternoon sessions. Unfortunately we cannot allow people to choose their session, as we will be trying to keep indexes (street, street touring) together to run together to the fullest extent possible. We need to keep things as even as possible so please be flexible when registering. You will know which session you are assigned to 48 hours before the event. Each session will have two run groups of 35-38 people each. The event will run in a format where you drive 6 runs, you switch and work while the other run group runs their 6, then you're done for the day. The afternoon session will have its own driver's meeting, its own paddock area and its own course walk time. We will announce when you need to arrive for the afternoon session. Please do your best to limit contact with others to your specific run group of 35-38 people.
There will be two grids. Before first car off in each session, everyone will put their car into their respective grid in order to have minimal shut down time between run groups. Morning Driver's meeting will be 9am. If you are not present, you will not be checked in. When you come to driver's meeting, bring your car into grid. They will be marked for group 1 and group 2 within each session. Same deal for afternoon session, but we don't know exactly what time for that meeting yet.
This registration will close 72 hours before the event. We have to do this to assign work and run groups efficiently. There will be no walk ups, no day-of registrations, and no cash payments on site. All previously posted COVID policies will be in place and strictly enforced. There will be folks assigned to enforcement of this ruleset. Participants will be emailed about guidelines and responsibilities prior to the event once registration is closed. If you have not completed an annual waiver form, please print a copy, bring it with you and we will witness you signing it so you can have your annual waiver card going forward.
Novices ARE allowed however, there will be no instructors at this event.
Failure to comply with requests to follow the COVID protocols / 6 foot distancing can and will result in removal from final event results at the discretion of the head safety steward for the event, and possible explulsion from the event.
Check-in will be from 7:30am - 8:45am. Driver's meeting will be promptly at 9am. We are hoping to have the first car off by 9:30.
All Fees will be collected during registration. If you pre-register and choose not to attend, you must cancel prior to Saturday 7/11 at 12pm noon. Cancellations after that time will not receive a refund. This allows us time to create the run groups.
