SCCA + Hagerty Drivers Club Autobahn Experience
One day. Three ways to hit the track.
This exclusive event for Hagerty Drivers Club Members gives you three ways to get you and your car on the track -- trackday lapping sessions, time trial/time attack sessions, and tracksprint -- the newest way to get competitive on track! All events take place on the South Circuit of Autobahn Country Club.
Track Day - AM ($85)
Morning sessions: 9:00AM – 12:00PM CST
This morning schedule calls for three groups each running three on-track open lapping sessions of approximately 20 minutes each. Drivers of all experience levels are welcome here with run groups for Advanced, Intermediate and Novice drivers. For those who have never been on track, you'll have access to SCCA drivers and coaches that have many years of track and competition experience.
Track Day/ Time Trial - PM ($85)
Afternoon sessions: 1:00PM – 4:00PM CST
We continue with track day sessions and add a run group for those with the competitive spirit. Our Time Trials run group adds transponder based lap timing using SCCA Time Trials classing in a time attack format where you're going for best lap times. The afternoon schedule calls for two track day groups and the time trials group each running three on-track sessions of approximately 20 minutes each. Run groups include Novice, a combined Intermediate/Advanced group and the Time Trials group running with transponders (which can be rented for the day).
TrackSprint - Evening ($55)
Evening sessions: 5:00 PM -- 8:00 PM CST
TrackSprint is an exciting combination of autocross style timing on a race track. It uses approximately two-thirds of the course for a time attack run unlike any other event. Just you and your ride against the clock. No passing allowed, no wheel to wheel. Cars will be spaced at minimum intervals to get you maximum seat time. No transponders or fancy equipment needed, but please have numbers on your car which are legible from the timing tower (autocross rules apply here). This is run similar to an autocross while being nowhere near as hard on your equipment. You will leave pit lane from a standing start when directed by the starter and attack the course. After turn 10 you will be tripping the finish timer, there will be a short cool down portion of the track remaining before you enter pit lane to restage for your next run. Expect to get 3 to 6 timed runs (sometimes more!).
