What is a SCCA Track Event?

For those who have never sat behind the wheel while on a track, the Track Event provides instruction in both the classroom and on the track, giving novice drivers the opportunity to improve their driving skills and increase their enjoyment of driving their street vehicle**.

this will happen the firs 4 sessions of the day, and will be practice for the Time trials For those who have track experience, Track Events offer Intermediate and Advanced run group options*.  These groups offer the experienced driver a chance to hone skills in a non-competitive environment.

What is a SCCA Time Trial?

Time Trial event is the same as a Track event except 2 sessions have a timing element. If you hold and SCCA Competition License or you have earned an SCCA Novice permit that day in the Track Event.  You can run in the Time Trial Event which will be the last 2 sessions of the day. After the laps on the track tuning your setup now put them to the test and go for Trophy’s and Prizes. The SCCA Time Trial Nationals will be held June 10-13th, at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky and a National Tour event on July17-18th, at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI. The licenses earned here will allow entry to those events.
