2024 Eclipse Work

MAAC - Mid-American Air Center

About this event

Here is what is known about our jobs:

Sunday (April 7) -- Be on-site and ready to work from noon until 6:00 PM.

Monday (April 8 - Eclipse Day) -- Be on-site and ready before 8:30 AM for the "gate" to open at 9:00.

        - We expect the day to end at about 3:30 PM.

        - We expect people will leave shortly after the eclipse peaks.  Though some may stay until it is finished.

We will primarily be managing the parking.  We may also be collecting at the gate (near the big Mid-American Air Center sign).

It seems like much of the work will be standing, walking, and directing vehicles where to park.  No running.  No shagging pylons.

Sunday and Monday have been deemed "work" event days by the SIR BoD and thus pay 5 Berry Points to SIR members working the full day.  Work either day for 5 points.  Work both days for 10.

Also, each worker will receive a free event entry and $15 for each day worked.

Worker registration closes at 11:59 P.M. on April 3rd.  This is to get workers on the list of event organizer's list of official workers...and our workers in for free.  If you learn you're able to help us after April 3rd, please do.
