Event requirements
Between the Opening Session and the NEDIV Council meeting will be sessions for Region Leadership, Marketing and Communications, Experiential Programs, and Competition Programs: Solo. RallyCross, Road Rally, Hillc Climb and Road Racing. SCCA National Staff will be joining NEDIV leaders to provide information and tools the help each region, from small regions to jumbo regions, make the most of their programs and offer the most for their members. Lunch will include NEDRRC Champion awards and Divisional Road Racing Awards.
Opening Session | State of the Club & 2026 Outlook – Mike Cobb President & CEO
Join SCCA CEO Mike Cobb for a high-level look at the current state of the Club and what’s ahead in 2026. This opening presentation will highlight key priorities, emerging initiatives, and how this year’s theme connects to strengthening Regions, enhancing the member experience, and continuing to level up across the organization. This session sets the tone for the convention and the conversations to follow.
SCCA.com & Region Websites Update – Kristen Poole Director of Marketing & Communications
Get a first look at SCCA’s upgraded digital platform and how it’s helping the Club and Regions level up online. This session highlights improved navigation, modern design, and a smarter site structure that makes it easier for members to find what they need — while giving Regions better tools to manage content, streamline updates, and stay connected with the national website.
Region Development Office Hours - Abby Scher Senior Manager, Region Development
Drop in for an informal office hours session with Abby Scher to ask questions, get clarification, and talk through how new information and changes may impact your Region. This is a great opportunity to connect, share feedback, and leave with practical next steps.
Driver's School & Licensing Discussion – Jon Krolewicz Senior Manager, Regional Track Program Development
There has been a significant update to SCCA Driver’s School eligibility this year. Drivers now have the option to obtain their SCCA Novice Permit either before or after attending a Regional School. This session will explain what changed, why the update was made, and how Regions and drivers can best prepare to take advantage of this new flexibility.
Road Racing Town Hall
Join Eric Prill (VP of Road Racing), Jon Krolewicz (Sr. Manager Regional Track Program Development), Kathy McLeod (Executive Steward), Bob Crawford (BoD Chairman), and Chris Mosley (NEDIV Chairman) for an open discussion on the future of Road Racing. This town hall will explore shared responsibilities and collaboration across all levels of the sport — from Regional racing through the Runoffs — and how working together can strengthen programs, operations, and the competitor experience.
Region Resources 101 - Abby Scher Senior Manager, Region Development
New to Region leadership or ready to level up? This session provides a quick overview of key tools and resources available to support your Region — including MAP workflows, Region-focused training, leader calls, and marketing templates — all designed to help your team communicate, operate, and grow more effectively.
Marketing and Communications Office Hours – Join Kristen Poole, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for an informal session where you can share feedback and find resources the help your Region Level Up.
All Rally, Solo, Experiential Programs Opening Session- Join Heyward Wagner, Vice President of RSE, Rick Myers, Senior Director of Rally/Solo and Justin Barbry, Sr. Manager National Solo Programs in an open discussion for Region and Program leaders to share their goals for the convention and the upcoming season. This session will focus on collaboration between Regions and SCCA staff, exploring how we can work together to strengthen programs, align resources, and address shared challenges—including ongoing site acquisition issues within NEDIV.
RSE Safety Roundtable- This session is not a training course as all required training is now delivered online. Instead, this is an open discussion focused on safety and risk management across all programs. Topics include review of historical data and trends, incident response and handling, online reporting tools, and how to effectively manage safety issues in the field. Attendees will also learn what support and resources are available to members, including an overview of key aspects of SCCA’s insurance program. The session concludes with an open Q&A.
HillClimb Town Hall- An open town hall discussion focused on the current and future state of SCCA Hillclimbing. National SCCA staff and leaders from the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association will share updates, insights, and perspectives on the program. Attendees are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and engage in dialogue on challenges, opportunities, and next steps for hillclimbing within SCCA.
NEDIV Solo Safety - One of the jobs of a Solo Safety Steward is to serve as a mentor to apprentice stewards. What topics should we discuss with them while they shadow us during the day? Your contributions will be welcomed. Join theJim Garry, NEDiv Solo Safety Steward for a breakdown of NEDIV statistics generated from Solo Incident Reports collected in MAP.
Solo Development: Greg Vincent, NEDIV Solo Development Coordinator leads a discussion of a benefits to regions, how to assign events, benefits to participants. Also, as Course Designer licenses are available, Greg will review key points from both Karen Babb's beginner’s autocross course design presentation and Charles Krampert's advanced autocross course design presentation.
Road Race Stewards: Executive Steward Kathy McLeod presents a program for Stewards and Stewards yet to be including Program updates, use of Remote SOM Hearings, online incident reporting, division training, best practices. This meeting is open to anyone considering joining the Stewards program as well as all active stewards.
Track Day and Time Trials: Trey Albrecht, TT Divisional Admin and Justin Barbry will answer questions about how they can help build a program in your region.
Collaborative Events: Jon Krolewicz, Sr. Manager Regional Track Program Development will facilitate an interactive discussion with experienced Region Leaders and Staff who have successfully built collaborative events and series. This session gives you the chance to ask questions, explore challenges, and discover practical steps to bring similar benefits to your Region.
NEDIV Council Meeting: The NEDIV Council meeting will close out the Convention - this is your region's opportunity to lead the Division. – The NEDIV Council is one representative from each region in the Division lead by a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Member at Large. Program leaders will present reports on the past year and program goals for 2026. Council officers will be elected during this session.
