Say farewell to the summer season with an early fall evening at the track!

The SCCA Chicago Region invites you to the Autobahn Country Club on Friday, September 6 with an evening Track Event on the SOUTH Course.

Overview:  We are planning three run groups for this event, and each group is scheduled to have three 20-minute sessions.  Please note that there is no time trial group for this event due to the time trial the next day.  Race cars are not eligible for this event but are welcome at the Fall Classic Race Weekend or the Autobahn Test Day before the race weekend.

Entries:  The entry fee for SCCA members for this Track Event is $195. For non-members, the entry fee of $215 covers your entry + a $20 weekend membership, and the weekend membership fee can be applied to a full SCCA membership. Join at SCCA.com and become eligible for discounts, experiences, and even more fun with cars.

Event Day:  Check-In begins at 1:00 PM; the mandatory drivers’ meetings start at 3:30 PM; and on-track activities are scheduled to start at 4:00 PM.

Run Groups: For safety and everyone's enjoyment, drivers will be divided into run groups based on skill and experience.  The Track Event is for drivers of all experience levels and offers three options:

  • 1) an Advanced run group,
  • 2) an Intermediate run group, and
  • 3) a Novice run group. Please sign up early to secure your spot in the correct group!

Vehicle Eligibility:  Trucks, most SUVs and crossover vehicles, as well as race cars, are not eligible for this event. Vehicles must be licensed, plated, and insured as streetable vehicles, so race cars are not eligible for this event.  Drivers looking to prepare themselves or their race cars for the Fall Classic Race Weekend or the Autobahn Test Day should contact the organizers of those events.
